Our School
WestWood is proud to be an E-STEM school where students receive instruction focused on inquiry and real-world problem solving in the 21st Century, applying hands-on science, technology, engineering and mathematical practices with projects and field experiences related to the environment.
Our district programs have been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education with PLSAS being named a Green Ribbon Schools Sustainability District that supports Environmental Education.
All elementary schools create positive classroom environments by teaching students the social skills of C.A.R.E.S. (Cooperation, Assertion, Responsibility, Empathy and Self-Control) where social-emotional and academic learning combine to encourage children and increase academic achievement.
We encourage parent involvement through a variety of volunteer opportunities. Please contact us for more information.
